THE MISSION

As followers of Christ, we are compelled to respond to the desperate need of the orphans and widows. God has thus far given us the following means of doing so:

  • Sharing the Gospel and leading the lost to Christ

  • Overseeing the building and administration of a children’s home in Swaziland

  • Teaching biblical principles to widows and other women through regular Bible study groups

  • Facilitating new small businesses

  • Assisting existing feeding and Christian education programs for children

  • Distributing donated Bibles, food, clothing, toys, and other items to those who need it most

  • Building homes for widows and the elderly

  • Distributing donated funds for medical care, transportation to visit sick and dying loved ones, funeral expenses, and many other needs

  • Introducing and maintaining regular women’s prayer groups as part of Moms In Prayer International (MIPI)

  • Directing the translation, printing, and distribution of MIPI prayer booklets in siSwati

  • Enabling widows in poverty to give of themselves by ministering at the local hospital

  • Counseling individuals and couples using biblical principles

  • Facilitating short term teams

  • Training and equipping future ministry leaders from the local population

  • Developing a small adult literacy program for women

    • Establishing both formal and informal relationships in order to disciple the next generations

    THE MISSION FIELD

    OUR MINISTRY HAS EXPANDED  BOUNDARIES!

SAME MINISTRY; MORE OPPORTUNITIES TO SHARE THE LOVE OF JESUS!

Swaziserve has  expanded into South Africa. The focus in ministry remains the same—widows and orphans, and even the demographics of the people we'll be serving are much the same. The border in this area between Swaziland and South Africa is an arbitrary one set at the end of the colonial area. The people group is the same: same language, same culture, same poverty and disease, same spiritual darkness, same desperate need for Jesus. The residents in the post-Apartheid townships are responding with open arms and hearts to outreaches; “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.” (Matthew 9:37),  which is where we come in! WOW—we are SO excited for this opportunity and SO blessed at the way the Lord is leading us into new pastures!
